SMART PACKAGING MACHINE
ABSTRACT
Many small scale food production
business owners, small and medium scale grocery store owners do the process of
weighting and packaging their product manually. Small and medium scale food
production business owners who particularly made product is chilly, Dal,
Turmeric, Pepper and etc. They do the weighting, filling and packaging process
manually. The package seal process is carried out with the help of candles. The
process is very time and effort consuming and thus it limit their production as
well as their business. It is observed that the cheapest machine which would
automate this process of weighting and packaging cost around 1.25 lakhs and it
is manufactured by us. Automatic weighting and packaging which is price rate
mentioned is not affordable for small and medium scale business. This project
aims to develop such a machine which automatically weight and pack the food and provide
quality and healthy with the help of microcontroller and sensors.
The idea is to manually place the bag, then automatic weighting, filling and
packaging is done. And other future is can know customer order finish or
ongoing, because machine has connected to network then it is automatically
maintain the data base system encoding given order of the supervisor. Then
machine owner can know how many orders there and how many times are taken to
finish then he can give better service to customer. The purpose of doing this
project is to reduce human
efforts and time consumption then they can improve their business and
take better interest reducing so many waste, on time transportation, over production, over store,
decreasing machine cost is the major advantage of project. The machine
design is based on simple mechanism and it can be installed easily. The speed
of packaging is increased thus resulting in more production and business. It
will reduced the number of paid workers to pack. Then they can use to another
work.
